Accessibility statement

Our commitment

PostPerk is committed to making our platform usable by everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. Our target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA— the widely adopted benchmark for perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust web experiences. We also track the newer WCAG 2.2 criteria and factor them into new work as we build.

Where we are today

PostPerk undergoes internal accessibility audits against WCAG 2.1 AA, most recently in July 2026. The core experiences — creating an account, browsing local venues, submitting a post, viewing your wallet, and redeeming a reward — are operable by keyboard and labeled for screen readers. That audit also surfaced findings we have since fixed, including distinct page titles across the site, a corrected heading structure, accessible names on search and filter controls, and improved text contrast throughout.

We are not perfect yet, and we would rather be honest about that than claim full conformance we haven't earned. PostPerk is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA: some content does not yet fully conform, as described below.

Known issues we're working on

These come from our own audit, are tracked internally, and are being addressed in active development:

• A few dialogs and pop-up panels don't yet share consistent keyboard behavior (focus containment and Escape-to-close). We are consolidating them onto one accessible dialog component.
• Some interactive controls — tab-style toggles, the account menu, and selected filter pills — don't yet expose their full state to assistive technology.
• Some dynamic updates, such as filtered result counts on the discover feed and wallet refreshes, are not yet announced to screen readers.
• Animations do not yet respect the "reduce motion" preference in your operating system settings.

If you hit an accessibility barrier anywhere on PostPerk — a control you can't reach, content a screen reader mangles, text you can't read — we want to know, and we'll prioritize a fix. Email hello@postperk.co with the page and what happened. Screenshots or the assistive technology you were using help, but aren't required.
